October Health Challenge: Healthier Alternatives- Rice Cakes

When it comes to food cravings, sweets are only one half of the problem. Salty food is my other vice- more specifically, chips. I've tried some different alternatives, and while nothing quite measure up to a potato chip, it does at least satisfy my salty snack craving. There are some other options out there for healthier chips- including baked chips and veggie chips.

I love these rice cakes by Quaker, too- they have both sweet and salty options. I found this article from a nutritionist that explained that while they are a healthier alternative to potato chips, they still are many other healthier snacks around.
