Living Green: Upcycled toys

This past week, I tried making a few toys out of some extra cardboard and some bottle caps around the house. My son loved them! They have played with them as much as any toy I've bought for them at the store, and we had fun making them together. 

This is the skate park for his cars:

And the airplane control computer, complete with a button for bombs and big bombs: 

There are some really neat ideas for making cardboard toys. I especially like this cardboard kitchen. I'm hoping to make one for my daughter for Christmas this year.
