Simple Savings: Get a Free Energy Audit

The area where we live offers a free energy audit to people who live in homes that are more than either 5 or 10 years old or older.  I signed up and wasn't sure what to expect, but thought it could be helpful.  They gave us free shower heads and other faucet things to reduce the amount of water that we use.  They also covered the water heater for free.  The people they sent were fantastic and they also gave us other ideas about what we can do to save money and informed us of rebates we were unaware of.  Hopefully our bills will go down some so we can save money as well as use less resources.
