Simple Savings: Think Twice Before Buying a Bigger Home

There are times when we may feel like we have outgrown the living space we have.  Depending on your job and size of family, you may need to find something else.  But, there are things we can do to have more space without spending the money to get a bigger place.  First, go through and declutter your home.  Sell or donate the things you don't use or want.  This can free up enough space that you may feel less crowded.  Also, you can even make money off the things you sell.  Bigger homes cost more in rent as well as upkeep, and don't forget all the fees that come along with buying a new home.  Do you have furniture that you don't use?  Getting rid of big items can make a huge difference.

Next time you get antsy to move into a bigger home, first look around and see what changes you can make in the place you are living in, and try to make it work.
