Simple Savings: Bridesmaids Dresses

I remember my wedding.  All my bridesmaids were the same color of fabric and used the same dress pattern, whether it looked good on them or not.  They all matched and that was what I thought was important at the time  I doubt anyone ever wore the dress again after the reception.  If I were to do it  all over, I would do things differently.  I would rent a dress, since mine ended up getting ruined at the dry cleaners.  It also cost a lot of money to get it cleaned.  I would have my bridesmaids pick out a dress they like in the colors I have chosen so they can find something they can wear when all the festivities are over.  It would save money, stress and time to do it this way.  You leave yourself open for the unexpected, but it will make things easier for the bridesmaids since they can choose something that they feel good in and is in their budget.
