I saw this post today and thought you might like to look at it and see if you have anything on the list. Now is the time to get rid of it, before your guests arrive and before you get more stuff for Christmas.
I personally like the one about getting rid of unfinished projects. I have done that for everything I started and knew it wasn't going to get done any time soon or if at all. We also have a few paint cans that can go.
For those of you who have kids, check and make sure your cribs, car seats, etc. are still safe and that there hasn't been any recalls. This is especially important if you bought them used.
I have a couple of VHS tapes still. We watch them on rare occasions. Maybe that is something to consider getting rid of. There are only 3-4. We rarely watch television anyway.
I think he has a point that it is good to go through your old greeting cards and keep only the most thoughtful ones with messages on them. It is easier said than done!
How many unread books do you have? It still isn't too late to sell them or donate them. I made over $100 selling about 4-6 books in the last few weeks.
