$100 Christmas Challenge: Update and Recycled Wrapping

We just sold an old piece of furniture, a jacket, a sled and a baby chair.  That is another 75 dollars to add to the Christmas stash.  I was surprised we got as much as we did for the stuff.  I have all the stocking stuffers covered now, no problem.  I am amazed how everything has worked out so well so we have had enough money for everything.  I feel very blessed and grateful. I really didn't know if I could do this challenge when I started and at times I thought it was crazy and I should skip doing it, but I am glad I stuck it out.

I wish I had seen this last week.  I saw the link on 365 Less Things today, and thought it was worth passing on.  It is about recycled wrapping.  I could have saved a dollar or two.  I didn't have anything in the house to wrap a few gifts for one of our kids, so I broke down and bought a roll of paper.  If you don't have your gifts wrapped yet, take a look at these ideas and see if there are things in your house that you can use instead of purchasing more paper.  Remember to recycle anything you can so we don't add to the huge amount of trash generated at Christmas time.
