Recipe Exchange -Pain Au Son: French Bran Bread

I made this bread recipe tonight.  Oh my, it is so soft and light.  It is definitely a keeper.  You use 1 1/2 cups of bran in this bread.  A note on the original recipe I used said that you have to have 25% bran to be able to be called a bran bread in France.  There are just a few ingredients in this bread.  Most people will have everything in their kitchen cupboards, except for the bran.  I didn't use egg white/water wash on top of the bread, because I think it browns the bread too quickly.  It turned out perfect without it.  I also used two smaller bread pans instead of one large one.  I did this because it is hard to fit the large loaves in the toaster.  Guess who is having toast for breakfast tomorrow!
