Homemade French Fries

I love french fries, but I hate the greasy ones at fast food places. If you don't eat any for a few months, and then try them, you realize how much grease there is. So, we have made our own fries for a while now. It is really easy.

1. Peel and slice potatoes.

2. Put potatoes in Ziploc bag or other container (if you are trying to be eco-friendly) with a lid that you can shake. Pour some oil in the bag or bowl. Close bag or put on lid and shake.

3. Add some flour with whatever spices you want. We have tried things like steak seasoning, Cajun seasoning, garlic, parsley, grated romano cheese, salt, pepper, etc. or a combination of some. It just depends on what you feel like eating. Put on lid or close bag and shake.

4. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 or 400 until done. I usually butter the cookie sheet instead of oil or shortening because they don't stick when I do.
