Bread for a Month: July 1st - 100% Whole Wheat Bread

We started out this month with 100% whole wheat bread.  It is healthy and tastes great.  I made a batch this morning and didn't read the recipe right.  Needless to say, I had bread that didn't rise, didn't cook right and failed completely.  I felt self pity for about 15 minutes, while I lamented over the cost of ingredients wasted, and then I tried again.  This time I read the recipe correctly and the loaf of bread turned out amazing.  So, for all of you who have tried to make wheat bread and have failed, I would encourage you to try again.  I usually don't use as much flour as the recipe calls for, so be aware of just using what you need and not necessarily what the recipe says.  Good Luck!
