Best 100 percent Whole Wheat Bread I've had

I had my doubts when I tried this recipe.  I have always been told NOT to put hot water with yeast because it will kill it.  You can see by the picture below that it worked just fine.  I don't really know why, but it did.  I didn't add as much flour as the recipe called for, and I think I may have added just a little bit too much.  I used fresh ground wheat and that also makes a difference when you make things out of whole wheat.  Ignore the fact that I didn't cut the bread very evenly!
