December Water Challenge: Measure Ahead

When trying to drink eight glasses of water per day, it is easy to forget how much you have had and how much you still need.  One easy way to do this is to measure how much ahead of time.

One way you can do this is to measure it right when you get up in the morning.  Get a 1 cup measuring cup and measure 8 of them and put them into a pitcher.  When the pitcher of water is gone, you have met your goal.  This may not work if you are not home.  In that case, find a water bottle and measure how much it holds.  If it holds 16 ounces, you need four for the day.  Set some kind of reminder to drink one in the morning, one between breakfast and lunch, one between lunch and dinner and one between dinner and bedtime.  Or, you can fill up 4 water bottles and drink them throughout the day so you don't have to try to remember how many water bottles you have had.
