October Health Challenge: Night Time Eating

Last night my husband got out something to eat.  In the past, I would have joined him or found something else I liked.  But, I have found that since I have done this challenge that I don't have the desire to eat after dinner any more.  That is a huge step for me, since I used to snack frequently.

Late night eating, as it is called, is not good for you.  If you eat later in the evening, your body tends to turn the calories into fat.  In other words, it is pretty easy to gain weight if you make this a habit.  It can also create sleeping problems.

Bottom line, it is healthier for you and your weight not to eat after dinner.  It used to be much harder to say no, but for some reason it is starting to eat easier.  They say it takes 21 days to develop a habit and this is the 21st day.  So, hang in there if you are still struggling.  I sure hope I can keep these habits when I am done with the challenge at the end of the month!  It doesn't matter if you can afford it or not.  People only need a certain amount of food.

10 more days...
