October Health Challenge: It's Almost Over!

 This is the last day!  There is no way I am blowing it now, even for Halloween.  Tomorrow, I will eat a piece of my 95 percent cocoa chocolate bar, but for today I am content.  This challenge has really saved me from enjoying my share of cute little packages of Halloween candy.  

I haven't realized how much food plays a part into the holidays before.  I am going to have a lot of choices to make as we go into Thanksgiving and Christmas.  For Thanksgiving, instead of making 4 different pies, I am only going to make one.  I will only have one plate of food for Thanksgiving as well.  No seconds.  Other than that, I am not sure, but I will figure it out.  

Is it possible to have a fun and healthy holiday?  So much of what we associate with the holiday is treats.  I love to bake and I love to eat what I bake.  Will I enjoy the holiday without baking very much?  I can do some small batch cooking.  I have time to figure it out.  What do you usually do for the holidays?  Will you do anything different this year?
