31 Days of Bread in July: Lion House Rolls and Overnight Artisan Bread

I usually don't post on Sunday, so today I am posting the bread for both days.  The first is the Lion House Rolls.  These have got to be my favorite dinner rolls.  We have had company here, and almost all the rolls were gone after they were cooked.  Everyone loved them. The recipe calls for water and powdered milk.  If I don't have it on hand, I have just used milk instead of the water.  I am not sure if it makes that much difference, but it works well with both.

Today we have the Overnight Artisan bread.  I started it the day before since it has to rise all night.  This is an inexpensive bread and tastes SO good.  My favorite way to use it is in grilled cheese sandwiches, but it is hard to stop eating it no matter how you make it.  Sometimes I have put in herbs for a change, but it is easy to make and tastes great.  I also put a little oil in the dough when I make it so it will be just a tad softer.  If you are new to bread making, I would definitely suggest this recipe.
