Coronavirus Cleaning Day 14: Drawers

Today I focused on a couple of drawers in our dresser.  Mine went really quickly.  I enjoy decluttering, but that isn't true for my spouse.  He is a fantastic husband and father.  He supports me and appreciates my efforts decluttering.  He doesn't enjoy doing it himself.  So, he set a timer for 5 minutes and we got through one drawer.  It may not be as much as I would have liked to do, but one drawer is better than none.  And, by having a very defined and short time limit, he is willing to do it because he cares about me.  Tomorrow, we will do another 5 minute time period to do the last drawer that I need his help for.  I could have done it myself, but I don't know which shirts still fit or which shorts are too tight.  It is his stuff, so I feel like it is important to respect his things and find a way to work together.  Through time, I have realized that 15 minutes is the maximum time he can stand doing it.  I have also realized that just focusing on one specific drawer or item, like ties for instance, is the most successful way to work it out.  I am grateful he is willing to do it, even if it is only 5 minutes today.  It is amazing how much you can get done in a short time period.
