Simple Savings: Pay at the Pump

When we went on trips as a child, I always enjoyed picking out my favorite candy, soda, chips, etc. when we would stop to get gas.  It was a nice break and there were so many fun things to choose from.  Back then, I didn't pay attention to the outrageous prices, but now I do.  When we get gas for our car, we pay at the pump.  This way we avoid the temptation all together.  So, next time you need to stop for gas, pay at the pump.  Save your money and buy healthier options at a grocery store or make them yourself at home and you will spend about half as much.
