Simple Savings: Go to a Matinee

We rarely go to the movie theater any more, but when we do we always try to go to a matinee instead of an evening show.  You can save a couple of dollars per ticket, which can easily buy a dessert after the show or a couple of tacos before.  If we don't feel like going anywhere before or after, it can provide money to go out another time.  Sometimes theaters will have a night where tickets are half off or a night where you can go in the evening and pay the matinee price.  Make a call and find out what is available in your area.  You can save money just by making a slight adjustment in the time that you choose to go.
