Living Green - One Step at a Time: Reuse Glasses & Towels

This is an easy one for anyone.  Instead of getting a new glass each time you want a drink, reuse the same glass.  There was a time when I assigned a color of glass to every family member.  They knew which glass was their glass and I also knew who left their glass where it didn't belong!  This same thing can be done with towels.  Give each member of the family a color of towel.  If you see a towel on the floor, you know who left it there.  This way, they will also have a dry towel to use if they hang it up properly.  With kids, we finally put hooks instead of towel racks in the bathroom.  They were more likely to hang it up when it was easier to do.
