2 Week $25 Challenge: Use Less Expensive Ingredients

One thing you can do when trying to save money is to use less expensive ingredients. Instead of making lasagna, try making spaghetti. Use cheaper cuts of meat and eat hot cereal instead of cold cereal. Instead of buying pineapple or cauliflower, try bananas and carrots. Instead of meatloaf and potatoes, try beans and rice. You can still get the nutrition you need, but get it for less money.

What are some ways you have used less expensive ingredients?
