If you have cable, seriously consider getting rid of it. There are alternate ways of watching shows that you can use like hulu.com, television network websites, etc. that offer the shows for free. You may have to wait a day or two or even a week or two, but you can still see your favorite shows without having to pay.
While I am on the subject of getting rid of unnecessary monthly payments, get rid of the magazine subscriptions too. You can find most magazines at the library, or go to your favorite bookstore and just chill for a little while and read it there.
I've been wanting to get rid of cable, but it's one of our only luxeries. I'm hoping to cut down our bill though.
ReplyDeleteAre there certain shows you enjoy watching? Can you find them on the internet instead? If you can, then you can spend the money you are now spending on cable on some other luxury you can't afford now.
