$50 Grocery Challenge - Spent $49.89

I had a very frustrating shopping trip this morning. I have hardly been to Smith's in the last few months and when I went today, they overcharged me and the lady who bagged my groceries put way too many in a bag so that even when I put my other hand under the bag while lifting, the handles ripped and my groceries went all over the parking lot. So, I am not going to itemize things today. I spent a good 30-45 minutes extra that I didn't plan on today and I still feel frustrated. As you can see, I didn't buy a whole lot of fresh items this week. We have carrots and onions from our garden, plenty of garlic and lots of frozen produce in the freezer. Actually, I really need to eat what is in the freezer so I can buy a couple of turkeys when they go on sale. I have no where to put them at the present. After going through and organizing my pantry and writing down what I needed to buy in the future, there were some of the things on sale this week. It will be nice to have some things stocked up again.

How did you do this week? Did you stay in your budget or get some good deals?
