Funnel Cakes

I have no idea where I got this recipe, but our family likes it. As the weather is turning here in Montana, it is fun to make a warm treat occasionally!

FUNNEL CAKES

Heat about ¾ inch oil in skillet. Mix the following ingredients and drop by funnel into frying pan. You can make them as large or small as you wish.

1 ¼ Cup flour ¾ Cup milk

1 tsp. Baking powder 1 tsp. Almond Extract

1/8 tsp. Salt 1 Large Egg

Fry and then sprinkle with powdered sugar. Can also sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
