$50 Grocery Challenge - Spent $49.45
It was 27 degrees outside this morning when I went grocery shopping. I made a list, but ended up changing things because of a good sale on honey. The honey was 1/2 off plus there was a dollar coupon on some of them. So, instead of paying $4.99, I ended up paying $1.49 for 12 oz. of honey. I got 18 of them, but it made it so I had to skip buying some things I had on my list. We are going to use frozen broccoli instead of fresh, dig up our carrots from the garden since I didn't buy them, and I bought half as much for some of our recipes. I had to put two things back at the checkout, but it will be just fine.
Rosauer's Spent $41.98
Garbanzo beans 1.28 (2 at .64 each)
Honey 26.82 (18 at 1.49 each)
Orange Juice 1.79
Beef stew meat 2.44
Boneless chicken 4.92
Potatoes 1.49
Hummus 2.24
Town and Country - Spent $7.47
Bananas 1.31
Tomatoes on the vine 1.82
Organic half and half 1.69
Snows clams 1.76
Swanson Broth 89 cents
