I am trying to get away from cold cereal this year, but my teenage daughter is not a fan of hot cereal. She doesn't have a lot of time to eat breakfast in the morning, so I have been trying to find recipes for things to eat on the run. I spent less than an hour, yesterday night, making these two recipes and I have enough to last a while especially if we have them along with a variety of toast, muffins, etc. for breakfast. I freeze a lot of the breakfast things I make and can pull out what she wants that day when we wake up. This granola bar recipe only has 5 ingredients and was easy to make. I added mini chocolate chips to it. The recipe is found here at Lynn's Kitchen as well as the Peanut Butter Granola recipe that I posted yesterday.
