these hamburger buns for 2 reasons. First, I was curious to see if they really tasted like hamburger buns and second because I did the Name Brand vs. Store Brand test for white beans today and I wanted to find a way to use them. I am making white chili tonight, but I also used 1/2 cup of pureed beans in this recipe. The dough is so nice and soft. I think I would have liked a little more sugar and I don't really care about the egg yolk mixture is on top, but they do taste like hamburger buns and we are going to use them when we have Cajun burgers later this week. My husband really liked them. My daughter hasn't tasted them yet, but I am not going to tell her about the beans in the recipe until after she tries them.
