This week I had a great trip to Smith's and also bought a couple of things from CVS. The Fiber 1 was $1.25 and the Kashi granola bars were $1. Everything else was free. Before you wonder how I did it, I will tell you. I transferred a prescription and got $25 of free groceries. I bought things I like and wanted. I could have done a better job shopping, but I wanted to get some things I wanted.
I am not going to list the rest of the groceries I got this week, but you can see in the pictures. Between discounts and coupons, it would take longer than I want to spend today. The total for everything was $48.64.

Under budget again. You are doing great! It's nice to get the things you want even when they are not at rock bottom price. Quite liberating sometimes. Please come link up at the Bluegrass Savers Weekly Shopping Page.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I think it's fine to use found money, like the $25 you got for the prescription change, to buy things you ordinarily wouldn't. Enjoy them!

I wish more authors of this type of content would take the time you did to research and write so well. I am very impressed with your vision and insight. persian grocery
