50 Dollars a Week Grocery Challenge - Spent $47.40

1.18    (2) Pretzels with $1 off coupon for each

2nd trip:  I took advantage of the Smith's Buy 10 get $3 off and also get a $3 Catalina coupon offer.  I spent a total of $13.33 between two stores.   I made some decisions based on coupons with this trip which may have not been the wisest.  I wanted to get my shopping over quickly since it is 7 below zero up here and I just wanted to get home! 

Breakdown:
1.99    Lucerne 6 pk. yogurt
2.99    Lucerne 1 lb. string cheese
Free    Del Monte Smoothie
2.16    (3) Grands Biscuits and Pilsbury Sweet Moments
Free    (2) pkgs. pepperoni
1.39     Cage Free eggs
Free     Sour Cream
3.48     (6) Banquet dinners - assorted
1.32     (4) pkgs. crescent rolls
 Grand total of both shopping trips above:  $28.45 + $13.33 = $41.78

I still have 9+ dollars left, but I am not going out again while it is 7 below.  It just isn't worth it to me.  If it warms up in the next few days, I will venture out and get a few more things and will add them later if I do.
 I ended up going to get some meat, etc. over the weekend.  I bought Italian sausage, ground beef, bacon, a celery stalk for soup and a small ice cream for my husband since he came with me.  I spent a total of $5.62.

Grand total for this week:  $47.40
