This recipe is so simple and you don't have to mess with shortening!
2/3 cup canola oil
3 1/2 cups flour (can use up to 2 cups wheat flour)
6 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups milk
Heat oven to 425
Mix ingredients in a bowl and slightly knead. The dough feels really cool!
Cut out biscuits and place on baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
