December Water Challenge: Plan Ahead

 It is amazing how some of the cheapest things in life are the best for you.  Water is one of those.  Your body needs water to function properly.  So, what if you are having a hard time getting enough water.  They say you should drink about 1/2 your weight in water in one day.  We talked about filling water bottles ahead of time and drinking those, but what if you get so busy in the day and just forget?  Well, plan convenient times throughout the day to drink.  For example, we all wake up in the morning.  Maybe that is a good time to drink 8 ounces of water.  Many of us shower in the morning.  Maybe before or after showering is a good time.  At night, we all should brush out teeth before bed.  Try drinking some water before you brush your teeth.  Maybe drinking before each meal would work, or when you feel hungry.  You have to figure out what works for you.  We each have routine things we do each day, and drinking before or after certain activities on a regular basis will help us to increase the water our bodies need.
