$100 Christmas Challenge: Use What You Have

This year, why not try something different and just use what you have.  Let me give you some examples.  Instead of buying new decorations, use the ones you have.  Instead of getting a new artificial tree, make the one you have last one more year.  Instead of buying special Christmas dishes, use the dishes you have and decorate the table with a Christmas theme.  Instead of buying new gifts, use things you have:  heirlooms, things you don't want and can regift, gifts cards you haven't used, etc.  Try using pinecones from your trees outside to decorate, or candles you have around the house already instead of buying new.  Use wrapping paper, bows, and gifts bags from last year.  Try doing a "No Spend Christmas".  White elephant parties are lots of fun.  Remember, Christmas is about being together with family and friends and the gift of love is more important than anything you can find in a store.
