Today I tried a clone recipe of the Famous Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins. They were VERY good. I replaced the milk with buttermilk when I made them.
The recipe shares a little bit of history of the muffins as well. Apparently, these muffins were famous up until the mid 1990's. They were served in the Jordan Marsh dining room on the top floor of the department store. The crusty sugary top was one reason they were famous, besides tasting great.
I would definitely make these again.
