Living Green: What We Can Do To Contribute To A Zero Waste World

It seems like we hear over and over from our political leaders that we need to keep buying to keep the economy strong.  I wish they would take the time to look at videos like this and realize that by decreasing our impact on the planet, we can create more jobs and keep a strong economy.  We don't have to keep wasting and producing more.  We need to take care of what we have, buy from companies that support this philosophy in their business, and find a truly better solution than what our leaders come up with.  The welfare system in America is a perfect example of how it is a short term solution.  It provides a crutch that supports dependency, not a long term plan of freedom from the system.
