Instead of Blaming the Government, DO YOUR PART AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF

It is so easy to blame the government for our problems, instead of taking responsibility for ourselves.  The housing problem wouldn't have happened a few years ago if people weren't trying to live beyond their means.  Simply said, people want things they can't afford so they go into debt to pay for it.  If every household in the nation were to live within their means, it would make a big difference.

Interesting facts:

76 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

Over 1/4 of Americans have NO money in their savings accounts.

47 Million people on Food stamps or about one in 6

If you can't pay cash for something, you can't afford it.  Stop buying things you can't afford.  Get out of debt and live within your means.

Save up for a rainy day, which inevitably will happen.

Three different things to save for:
1.  An emergency fund.
2.  6 months savings.
3.  3-6 months of food in your pantry.

Figure out a plan to safeguard your family through wise financial management.
