Simple Savings: Get a Smaller Trash Can

Several years ago we had a large trash can.  We filled it up each week and many times it was overflowing with trash.  One day, maybe in pursuit of a new idea to save money, I called the trash company and asked for a smaller trash can.  I figured that if I had a smaller trash can, I would not only save money, but I would be more careful about how much I threw away.  I am not to the point of giving up my trash can all together, but most weeks we only have one bag of trash.  I feel better about myself since I generate much less trash than we used to.
