  1. I've been doing this since Nov 2012 on eBay selling items. Got an extra $1300 out of it. I still think I can do better though. I just have soooo much. Bundle small things to sell in bulk online, you get more out of it.

  2. Thanks for the tip about bundling. It sounds like eBay has worked well for you. I did a Christmas challenge last year where I used the money I got from selling things plus 100 dollars and anything free from credit card rewards, etc. to pay for Christmas. You could easily pay for Christmas with $1300 dollars! It also motivated me to get rid of stuff knowing that it would pay for Christmas. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Oh yeah I know the feeling! I was looking inside my closet the other day and you wouldn't believe how many clothes I need to let go. There are so many old shirt that I turned into cotton nightwear and they are piling up already.

  4. I appreciate you comment. I finally decided how many of an item I wanted to keep and that helped me to whittle it down easier. I found the best ones and got rid of the rest. Sometimes our desire to use everything up creates roadblocks to getting rid of stuff. Good luck on the clothes declutter!

  5. This is a great idea. While our home is very uncluttered I continually find items that are unused or extra. Thanks for the great tips.

  7. I love books but I tend to accumulate too many so I joined www.paperbackswap.com; not only do I get rid of books but I get credit to spend on books. I have a rotating book collection to read.
