One of the things we have done this past year is to start comparing name brands to store brands.  The results have been interesting.  Most store brands, aside from prescriptions, have a satisfaction guarantee.  If you don't like it, you can take it back for a full refund.  It can't hurt to try.  You could save lots of money in the future if you are satisfied with the store brand and switch.
