Homemade Cheesecake

This is a great recipe for REAL homemade cheesecake if you like making it yourself. It is much more like a New York Cheesecake; not like the whipped up, no bake variety.

CHEESECAKE

4 8 oz. packages cream cheese

2 tsp. vanilla

1 ½ c. sugar

4 eggs

Cream cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.


Topping:

2 c. sour cream (sometimes less)

1 tsp. vanilla

¼ c. sugar

Crust:

1 ½ packages graham cracker crust crumbs

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

1 stick of butter melted (1/2 cup)

Pat crust in 9x13 or Springform pan. Put cheesecake mix on top. Bake at 350o for 55 to 60 minutes. Take out of oven for 10 minutes. Mix sour cream topping and put on top of cheesecake. Put back in oven for 5 minutes. Cool and put into refrigerator.
