How did you do this week? Did you get some good deals or stay in your budget?

  1. I only need 4 slices of bacon and I don't want a whole package if I don't have to. Do you buy the bacon from a butcher? Great job as always :) Keep up the great work!

  2. I usually go to the meat department of one of the store in town that I know has good meat. You pay more per pound, but you can get exactly what you want. If you use bacon a lot, it may not be worth it or you may want to cook up a whole package and freeze it cooked so you can just put it in recipes. You could also separate the slices and freeze smaller packages yourself. I hate touching meat and so I am willing to pay a little more for the convenience of getting exactly what I want. Thanks for the question and hope this helped!

  3. I will look into it because we don't use bacon too often. If I can't find it at my stores meat department then I will just freeze it. Thanks so much for the info!

  4. You can get the cheapest meats and cook in crockpot.. THE FLAVOR IS AWESOME.. We even cook steak in there.
